On the occasion of Police Commemoration Day, Governor Shri Ramen Deka visited Shaheed Vatika at Rajiv Smriti Van in Raipur today to pay homage to the martyrs.
He offered his respects at the Amar Jawan Stambh. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, who was also present, joined in paying tribute to the martyrs.
During the ceremony, the Governor and the Chief Minister offered floral tributes at the plaques bearing the names of the martyrs.
Director General of Police Ashok Juneja and other senior police officials also attended the event.
